  • Emile Dupree France, stamped, octagonal pernambuco stick, nickel lined ebony frog with paris eyes, ebony adjuster with two nickel bands and pearl eye. The tip has been repaired.
  • W.E.Hill and Sons, pernambuco, gold mounted on ebony, stamped "W.E.Hill & Sons".

  • Violin bow made in Mirecourt, France, mid 20th century, stamped "F. N. Voirin a Paris" and "France". Round pernambuco stick, ebony frog fully silver mounted with Paris eyes, ebonite adjuster with two silver bands and pearl eye. In very fine condition.
  • "August Nurnberger Suess" violin bow, round pernambuco stick, ebony frog fully silver mounted with plain eyes, ebony adjuster with two silver bands and pearl eye. Weight with hair is 56 grams. In very fine condition.

  • "H.R.Pfretzschner", octagonal Pernambuco stick with silver and ebony frog. Very fine condition.   SOLD
  • Unstamped pernambuco, silver mounted ebony frog and adjuster, probably Markneukerchen, Germany circa 1920.   SOLD
  • David Russell Young, round stick of strong pernambuco. The frog is fully gold lined. This bow is in near-mint condition and a very fine players item.   SOLD

Viola bows
  • W.E.Hill & Sons, stick is of dark Pernambuco, fashioned in the round. The Ebony frog is fully silver lined and fitted with Paris Eyes. The adjuster is of ebony with full silver cap. The grip, which is the original, is of black and white whale bone and lizard skin. The tip, which is also the original, is of silver and ebony and is stamped "5", identifying the maker as Arthur J. Barnes who worked for the Hill firm from 1919 to 1939. This viola bow is all original and in mint condition.

  • Heinz Dolling, pernambuco, silver and ebony, octagonal stick repaired 6 inches below tip.
